Did not disappoint again! True performers with real talent and each one is easy on the eyes too. 17 yrs together and it shows with ability to read each other. Brian has that high range like Perry did back in the day-great vocals, Joel strong on keys 🎹, Jason is phenomenal on guitar, Chris tearing it up on drums, and Doug on bass with his yoga moves. 😊 Such a fun and entertaining night to share with friends.

There are times when you close your eyes and smell something that takes you back to your youth. I am 63 years old, and I grew up with Journey. I even help set up for Journey in the 1983. I have been to 4 of Departure’s concerts and I have not been disappointed at any of them. I talked to Brian, and this is what I told him: I sit in the audience and at any moment I can close my eyes; it isn’t Departure I am hearing on stage; It’s Journey! Gentlemen, congratulations on 17 wonderful years, and wish you all the best. I am looking forward to next year.

We saw Departure at Chattanooga’s Riverfront nights series and the energy was electric! Each musician is incredibly talented and they’re the nicest people. Hope to see you guys again soon!

I saw you guys for the 3rd time last night in Bristol, TN. I’ve noticed the same thing at every show. Admittedly, we Journey fans are beginning to age just a wee bit. The crowds at the shows I’ve been to have a lot of grey hair lol. At the beginning of each show the crowd seems embarrassingly subdued. I think we are not showing you the love you guys deserve. But as the show progresses, you guys have even the oldest of us up and dancing and by the last song we are all teenagers once again. I cannot thank you enough for the pure enjoyment you bring to us!

I was working in Bristol Tennessee walking home from dinner and heard Neil Schon jamming and Steve Perry singing, but it was Brian Williams and Departure. Had no idea they were here, but I had to stay for the two hour show and was truly impressed. Highly recommend any journey fan to catch Departure and you will relive an early 80s journey concert when “The Voice“ was the lead singer.

Just saw you guys last night for the 1st time and I must say you are one of the best bands to come thru Rosemont-I take in a lot of shows there and your set was spot on, Hit on all cylinders-it truly was a great show!!!!!

Saw them for the 3rd time in Rosemont, IL tonite; the weather was perfect after days of heat and storms and tornadoes. Is Brian taking vocal lessons? His voice sounds better all the time and the energy of the band is magical. All I can say is WOW!

Worth seeing!

Departure came and put on an outstanding performance at our 4th of July festivities in Seneca, SC. Everyone, as well as myself loved. They are best Journey tribute band I have ever heard and the sound and voices are amazing. If you haven’t heard Departure you need to go see them. You will not be disappointed.

The concert in Kingsport, Tennessee, last night was awesome as usual. I look forward to seeing you every year. Take care until next year!

My family and I really enjoyed the concert in Kingsport TN on June 21, 2024. We’re all Journey fans and Departure captured the experience perfectly. So much energy and music perfection. We met some of the band and they were so nice. Can’t wait for the next concert.

Caught Departue at The Shed in Maryville TN last week. Now I’m humming Journey songs all week. Always good to see a GREAT band live, and Departure is a GREAT band!

We attended their concert tonight in Albany, Georgia and it was FANTASTIC. I’ve been to a lot of concerts over the decades and I can honestly say this is right up there with the top bands of all time. Even better than most of them. I will certainly get tickets to see them again. An incredible talented group of men. If they come to your area, you should make a point to see them.

It was an awesome concert! Journey was our favorite group and Departure delivered a great tribute to them.

What an amazing awesome epic performance!!! Second time seeing them at Daryl’s house and def won’t be my last!!! Brian’s vocals are beyond compare.. the way he sounds just as good 90 minutes after his first song is mind blowing!! The band is one of the best I’ve seen… just fabulous!!! I was at the Villa Rica september 8th concert and, just, wow. Departure is such a great band and, they sound almost identical to the real Journey band. I love them so much!

Anytime Departure is in our area, we try and see them. So good, so fun, so cool ! We take friends who have never seen them before because we love to show them off. What a great, rockin’ performance and they’re a nice bunch offstage too. We hope they never grow old!!
